They would like to pay a personal tribute to the woman of culture and dialogue that she was, endowed with extraordinary determination.
Her passing is a considerable loss for the world of culture, the City of Paris and all the staff of Paris Musées.
Delphine Levy accompanied the creation and development of Paris Musées from the very beginning. The City of Paris museums are now radiating both nationally and internationally thanks to her intelligence, dynamism and unfailing commitment.
A graduate of Sciences Po and former student of the École nationale d'administration, Delphine Levy worked alongside Martine Aubry, Minister of Labour, Bertrand Delanoë, Mayor of Paris, and Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, before designing and then taking over the management of the public institution Paris Musées. Passionate about art history, she was a specialist of the English painter Walter Sickert.
The Mayor of Paris sends her most sincere condolences to her family and friends and will pay tribute to her in the name of the Parisian elected officials and the entire Parisian administration.
