From Howard Hawks’ Gentlemen Prefer Blondes to Jean Boyer’s Fernandel the Dressmaker, French fashion has always been an inspiration for filmmakers. This selection of 16 films paints a picture of the style and elegance of a symbolic era which established Paris as the capital of fashion and filmmaking.
