Description:
These fake fur spindle pants are an exceptional piece in the light of Cristobal Balenciaga's work. Indeed, better known for his sophisticated evening dresses and learned tailors, we know less about the couturier for his production of more everyday clothes devoted to leisure or sport, rarely preserved.
Entirely made of fluffy wool jersey, this spindle was worn in parade with a sleeveless top in cream wool surrounded by brown leather. It underlines the modernity of the Spanish fashion designer who will close his house to the next collection, spring-summer 1968.
